FACILITIES
The spacious studio is heated, with large windows and skylights, a good- sized central working space for up to 4 people, a chemical wet darkroom with large sink and working area, a drying rack, film processing equipment and a film drying cabinet.
The workshop is equipped with a metal halide ultra violet exposure unit with a vacuum frame, which has a new light integrator installed, a pin registration unit and light box, and a large glass table. There is also a professional A2 printer. The studio has a small cosy snug with a sofa to relax in when not working and a shower room and toilet.
At one end of a long garden is the house and the studio at the other end, and both are surrounded by fields and woods, easily accessed by footpaths. Northrepps ‘International’ Aerodrome is next door and active at weekends.
Accommodation: A double en-suite guest room is available in the thatched barn (fee upon request) for workshop participants, visitors and artists. Full board can be provided on request to include breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alternatively there is a good selection of B&B accommodation and self catering holiday lets nearby. We are located a little over 5 minutes from the coast by car and 35 minutes on foot.
Animals: We have two cats, a number of hens and an apiary in our wood, so when in season we have organic free range eggs and our own honey.
Internet: We are fortunate to have direct fibre broadband to our home with speeds up to 50MBps.
Cost: Workshop and tutoring rates will vary depending on the days and numbers of participants. Please see individual workshops for further information on the programme and for individual charges. Please contact me to give you a quote for a bespoke programme.
