ABOUT THE STUDIO

Silverwood Art Studio and Darkroom is located in the beautiful landscape of North Norfolk in England. It was converted from an agricultural cart shed into a purpose built art studio and darkroom in 2017 for the artist, printmaker and photographer Katayoun Dowlatshahi.

 

The studio has been equipped to offer workshops, mentoring and technical support to individuals interested in honing their photography and printmaking skills and for artists who seek mentoring and professional support to work in the field of public art.

The aim of the studio is to create a hub for learning and collaboration with other artists and photographers and to provide a professional printing service for those wishing to reproduce their work as superior archival Carbon prints in colour or black and white or as technical support to guide you through the process of doing it for yourself. 

 

Katayoun also offers consultation, design, fabrication and project management of artwork for private, public and corporate commissions.
