ROCHESTER RIVERSIDE COLLECTION

Salt Marsh Plants / Cyanotypes / 2018

A set of 6 unframed cyanotype prints contact printed onto 360 gms Aquarelles Arches paper. The dimensions are 67cm wide x 50.5cm high.

All colour changes and marks on the paper are a result of the chemical reaction to the paper and form part of the artwork.

The image is of salt marsh plants collected from along the River Medway in Kent. The image forms part of a series of designs for stone cast benches and walls commissioned by Countryside Ltd for Rochester Riverside. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a print that helped create a narrative for the new public realm along the river walk. The Medway coastline is of special ecological importance to plant, marine and bird life.

SANTA FE / TWILIGHT

COLLECTION

Digital Black & White prints / 2006

A set of 12 unframed archival pigment prints available individually or as a collection. Printed onto matt Hahnemuhle German Etching paper. Available dimensions are A3+ or A2 in a limited edition of 30 each.

During November and December in 2006 I was artist in residence at the Santa Fe Art Institute in New Mexico, USA. In the Santa Fe / Twilight Series the extraordinary light enveloping the city during the first snow storm induced me to photograph the deserted urban landscape in the hours of darkness.

SANTA FE / APERTURE

COLLECTION

Digital Colour prints / 2006

A set of 6 unframed archival pigment prints available only as a collection. Printed onto matt Hahnemuhle German Etching paper. Available dimensions are A3+ or A2 as a limited edition of 30 each.

During November and December in 2006 I was artist in residence at the Santa Fe Art Institute in New Mexico, USA. The Apertures series images are derived from narrow apertures in the building designed by Legoretta & Legoretta, architects who construct bold, simple structures. The effects captured in the photographs are naturally occurring dependent on the angle of light into the lens and have not been digitally enhanced.
