CREATIVE TEAM BUILDING DAYS

Tailored Workshops for families, individuals and organisations supporting vulnerable children and young people. The project also provides bespoke alternative provision for children outside of main stream education.

These workshops take place at Wrongs Covert Woodland Project CIC in Lenwade, Norfolk.

'Nature' and 'nurture' is the ethos behind these woodland days. Whether you are a group of friends and family looking to have new outdoor experiences, learn new skills whilst also having fun bonding, or colleagues looking to work on communication and cooperative skills to de-stress from your work environment, this workshop will be tailored to suit you. You have various activities and games to build into your day depending on the season:

  • Preparing and making fires

  • Outdoor cooking

  • Rope skills to make a shelter or outdoor furniture

  • Team games

  • Whittling spoons or other objects

  • Making your own wooden mallet

  • Charcoal stick making for drawing

  • Learning about coppicing

  • Tree and wild flower identification

  • Foraging for fungi and identification

  • Working on a shave horse

  • Weaving with natural materials

A number of the activities are suited to group work. There will be ample opportunity for fun, teamwork, independent and group learning. It is also widely recognised that working and play in a natural setting has immense benefits to our health and well being.

Your facilitators will have experience of running forest school programs, the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme, orienteering and leading Inset training for teaching staff.

At Wrongs we have a number of specialist facilitators who we can call on to run a variety of workshops. Please follow this link for further information.
